Comforts of tastefully decorated and well-designed double room with comfortable bed were fabulous. the location was unbeatable and peaceful, really close to fields in all direction and far back from the road, and the outskirts of Ballater.

We had the most incredible stay at a charming bed and breakfast nestled in the heart of Royal Deeside. The views from our room were absolutely breathtaking, and we even had our own private patio area to enjoy. The breakfast was simply outstanding, with a selection of mouthwatering dishes that exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail and the homemade touches made it a truly memorable culinary experience. The hospitality of our hosts was exceptional, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. We cannot wait to return to this delightful establishment and highly recommend it.

What a fantastic stay at Craggan! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, like being wrapped in a cozy embrace. And let me tell you about the breakfast, it was absolutely divine. I had the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and it was to die for. The hosts, Martyn and Louise, were so accommodating, even with our late arrival. The only downside was that our stay was too short! I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy everything this wonderful place has to offer. I highly recommend Craggan for a truly amazing experience.

Mountain views that took my breath away! Free WiFi meant I could brag about my holiday online. And free parking, a luxury I greatly appreciate in this world of overpriced meters.
Oh, what a shame there was absolutely nothing for me to complain about. How disappointing.

I recently stayed at a beautiful bed and breakfast in the National Park. Craggan, located close to Balmoral Castle, offered breathtaking views, a cozy and well-equipped room, and a delightful private terrace. The highlight was the delicious and extensive breakfast, prepared by the exceptional cooking skills of Martyn and Louise. The presence of an adorable and friendly dog added an extra layer of charm. I highly recommend spending time at Craggan to explore the picturesque surroundings and enjoy the warm hospitality of Martyn and Louise.
Would recommend this hotel.
